Superior Explorer is back on the lake
After a long winter with ice on the Lake Superior persisting late into spring the crew of the science ship Superior Explorer had to wait until mid May to get the vessel out on the water for the season.
The Superior Explorer passed the winter on land at our terminal and we lowered it into the water using our Manitowoc crane two days ago.
